About
My name is Jennifer and I have been pursuing my doctorate at the Chair of Marketing at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2022. My research focuses on psychological, especially cognitive processes in consumer behavior. I am particularly interested in the phenomenon of choice overload, i.e., how a large selection influences our decisions. My duties at the department also include assisting with lectures and conducting seminars. It is important to me that students leave with a well-stocked toolbox of soft skills so that they can work on academic projects in a structured, independent, and reflective manner. I enjoy supervising theses in the fields of psychology and marketing and look forward to accompanying and supporting you in the research and writing process.
