Bachelor-Full Time
Saskia K.

Saskia K.

University of Mannheim, Finance

Initial Situation & Goals:

Saskia started coaching when her department assigned topics, to receive support already during topic selection. Since she already had a 1.X GPA, she wanted to leave nothing to chance with her bachelor's thesis and finish with a 1.X grade, which is why she approached RyT.

Coaching Process & Results:

Saskia booked a 5-hour package. She used 2.5 hours for four online coaching sessions regarding research question, structure, methodology and discussion, and 2.5 hours to have the introduction, methodology, results, discussion sections and conclusion of her bachelor's thesis proofread. Saskia completed with a grade of 1.0.

Grade: 1.0

Bachelor-Part Time
Erik A.

Erik A.

FOM, Business Administration

Initial Situation & Goals:

Erik started coaching six weeks before submission. At that point, he had the outline and about 10 pages of theoretical background. Due to the tight timeframe, his goal was simply to pass the bachelor's thesis.

Coaching Process & Results:

Erik booked a 10-hour package. Weekly meetings took place until his submission to discuss to-dos and progress. Additionally, 4.75 hours were spent proofreading the entire bachelor's thesis and 0.75 hours for WhatsApp support. Erik ultimately completed with a grade of 2.0.

Grade: 2.0

Master-Full Time
Gina B.

Gina B.

University of Konstanz, Psychology

Initial Situation & Goals:

Gina had created her exposé before starting coaching and was specifically looking for support in creating the questionnaire, statistical data analysis in R, and conception of the methodology and results sections. Since she wanted to start her PhD after completing her master's, her goal was to achieve between 1.0 - 1.3.

Coaching Process & Results:

Gina used 12 hours during her supervision. 5 hours were used for a total of seven online meetings, 6.5 hours were needed for proofreading the entire thesis, and 0.5 hours for clarifying urgent questions via WhatsApp. Gina passed her master's thesis with a grade of 1.3.

Master-Part Time
Nick W.

Nick W.

Munich Business School, Marketing

Initial Situation & Goals:

Nick discovered RyT two months before submission, had written 8/60 pages by then and hadn't started data collection yet. Since he works full-time in consulting, he was looking for a sparring partner who could support him efficiently. Due to the short time until submission, his goal was to finish in the good 2.X range.

Coaching Process & Results:

Nick booked 15 hours and conducted two shorter meetings per week with his coach to discuss his progress and next steps. About 8 hours were spent on preparation time, proofreading the thesis, and WhatsApp support. Additionally, he booked language proofreading. With a grade of 1.7, he finished better than expected.

Grade: 1.7

MBA-Part Time
Roman K.

Roman K.

IU, Health Care Management

Initial Situation & Goals:

Roman is in his late 30s, works full-time, and is a father. Since he wanted to approach the master's thesis process as stress-free as possible, he contacted RyT already during topic selection. Roman's goal was to complete the MBA within the standard period of study while not neglecting work and private life.

Coaching Process & Results:

Roman booked a 20-hour package. From exposé creation through methodology implementation to the colloquium, he was very closely supervised by RyT. A total of 14 online meetings took place and 10 hours were spent on preparation, proofreading, and WhatsApp support. Roman completed within the standard period with a grade of 1.3.

Grade: 1.3

PhD-Part Time
Julia R.

Julia R.

Ulm University, Medicine

Initial Situation & Goals:

Julia works full-time as a family doctor and is doing her PhD on the side. After already sitting on her doctoral thesis for 1.5 years and having little to show except the collected study data, she turned to RyT. Her goal was to finally submit her doctoral thesis within nine months and pass.

Coaching Process & Results:

Julia booked a 20-hour package. She was helped with the structure and data analysis in R as well as the conception and structuring of individual chapters. Julia needed a total of 8 online meetings and 14 hours were spent proofreading the doctoral thesis twice. She submitted within seven months and passed with Summa cum laude.
