About

My name is Andreas, and I’m pursuing my Ph.D. in finance at the FinTech Institute at LMU Munich. My research focuses on the financial health of individuals and households. I also study sustainable finance and economic inequality. In addition to my academic work, I bring experience from the banking sector and management consulting. At LMU, I supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses on a variety of topics. Through coaching, I help you develop a clear research question, structure your work effectively, and overcome methodological challenges. In addition to systematic literature reviews, I also provide guidance on quantitative empirical research. It is important to me to explain complex concepts in an understandable way and to empower you to conduct independent academic research.
