About

Hey, I am Annika and am in the final phase of my PhD in Psychology. My dissertation investigates the digital lives of young adults and how personal, social, and developmental factors influence their online behavior. My goal is to better understand how responsible digital media use can be promoted. Alongside my research, I've supervised university courses on scientific working techniques and empirical-experimental internships focusing on cyber aggression in young adults. Recently, I also started training as a psychological psychotherapist. Even after my dissertation, I wish to stay connected with academia and look forward to supporting students in conceptualizing, planning, and evaluating their theses—an activity I greatly enjoy!
