About
My name is Carmen, and I’m pursuing my Ph.D. at the Chair of Marketing & Innovation at the University of Mannheim, focusing on sustainable consumer behavior—specifically, the influence of notions of masculinity and gender stereotypes on purchasing decisions. I’ve gained practical experience in areas such as business development at SAP, as well as in auditing and tax consulting; I also have teaching experience as a student tutor. My studies took me not only to Mannheim but also to the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada, and, as part of a dual master’s degree program, to the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway. Outside of academia, I’m passionate about several sports and love to lose myself in a good book.
