About
My name is Dominique, and I’m a Ph.D. student in computer science at LMU Munich. My research focuses primarily on disinformation and hate speech on social media and how they spread. I’m also investigating ways to protect people online from these effects—for example, by helping them learn to recognize AI-generated content. My research combines my passion for social issues—which stems from my bachelor’s degree in political science—with the possibilities of AI, which I explored during my master’s degree in computer science. I’ve already gained practical experience in data science and machine learning through an internship at itecorate. I also gained international experience while studying in the Netherlands.
