About

My name is Marvin, and I am currently working as a postdoc in the Translational Imaging and Data Science Group at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital of Cologne. There, I conduct research on the clinical implementation of quantitative imaging innovations for oncology, and my current focus is on the CT-based characterization of liver lesions. In addition, I am responsible for the statistical analysis of clinical trials. My interdisciplinary and methodological expertise is based on a dual master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University in China, an experimental Ph.D. in metal additive manufacturing from ETH Zurich, and a second degree in medicine at the University of Cologne, which I am nearing completion.
