About

I am Michael, a research associate at the Institute for Information Systems at the University of Münster. After initially studying Information Management and Corporate Communications in my Bachelor's, I focused solely on Information Management for my Master's. I completed double degrees during both my Bachelor's and Master's, spending significant portions of my studies in Finland (OAMK, Oulu) and the United Kingdom (Kingston University, London). After both my Bachelor's and Master's, I gained professional experience in IT project management roles at melting elements GmbH in Hamburg and MarshMcLennan in London before deciding to pursue a PhD at the University of Münster in 2021. Since then, I have been contributing to practical scientific research on digital administration, with a focus on the digital competencies of public employees.
