About

My name is Timo, and I am in the final year of my PhD at the University of Mannheim, where I specialize in scaling digital B2B platforms. As part of my dissertation, I am researching the scaling mechanisms of successful digital B2B platforms to address industry-specific challenges. The dissertation is being developed in collaboration with an industry partner, combining theoretical approaches with practical insights to provide valuable contributions to the field. My bachelor's and master's studies, including a semester abroad at the University of Science, Malaysia (USM), allowed me to deepen my technical knowledge. In my PhD, I combine this technical expertise with a strategic and business-oriented focus to effectively bridge the gap between technology and business. Alongside my academic career, I have developed a passion for discovering new cultures and speak four languages fluently: German, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. In my free time, I stay active by running, cycling, hiking, and swimming. Thanks to my bachelor's and master's degrees, I am also qualified to supervise theses in the fields of medical technology, biomedical engineering, and electrical engineering.
